Do you have to have all these symptoms in order to have Type 2 Diabetes?
Excessive thirst
# Excessive hunger
# Frequent urination (you wake 3 or more times in the night to urinate)
# Unexplained significant weight loss
# Fatigue (particularly after eating)
# Feeling irritable
# Wounds that don’t heal or heal slowly
# Frequent or lingering infections
# Leg cramps (usually occurring as the undiagnosed disease worsens and mostly during the night)
# Blurred or other changes in vision
You don’t always have all the symptoms to have diabetes. You could have a few or none at all. If you feel that there is something wrong then you should get checked by a doctor and express your concerns and then the doctor will check for such illnesses.
No! Many type 2 diabetics report that they had none of the symptoms at time of diagnosis. Sometimes this was down to not being aware of the symptoms, not recognising [recognizing, if you're one of my American cousins], seeing the symptoms as being representative of ‘getting older’, etc.
